Volunteers sought

Laying decking for the seated area
Do you know about an organisation which cares for people who are mentally or physically disabled?
We believe that if those people can spend time in the natural environment, perhaps learning new skills, or rediscovering forgotten skills, learning about the natural world which exists here where we live, it will help them to build their confidence and self esteem. We are in discussions with organisations whose members would benefit from the Ridgeline Wildlife Therapeutic Garden, and we providers that there is a need for the facility which this project is working to would like to hear from more possible beneficiary organisations. Several are already interested or already participating. We have to be able to show the fund providers that there is a need for the facility which this project is working to provide.
We also need volunteers who can help with planning and administration.
Do you have spare gardening equipment or tools, or spare plants or seedlings which you could donate?
Become a friend of Ridgeline by joining our gardening sessions, by contributing plants or tools or by making a donation. Either bring them to a gardening session, or email us so that we can arrange for collection.
We are extremely grateful for all the help we have received to date from organisations and individuals.
