We will be meeting Hannah Genders, our newly appointed garden designer at 12.30pm on Tuesday 3rd May at the garden to discuss the new design plans for the garden. You are all welcome to attend. The meeting will go ahead whatever the weather, as we hope to have use of the meeting room at Lakeside Care Home opposite the garden. If the weather is fine, perhaps you may like to bring a picnic! Please let us know by replying to this email if you would like to attend.
The Trust would like to acknowledge the gift of a beautiful, brand new lawnmower from one of Ridgeline's most loyal client gardeners, Anthony Sigl-Dunn.
Anthony has always enjoyed mowing the vast expanses of grass in the Ridgeline Garden and recognising the need for a new lawnmower decided to buy us one! The Trust is tremendously appreciative of this very generous gift. Thank you Anthony!
We have been approached by our local tree warden, with the news that the Tree Council has funding for the planting of fruit trees, and our site has been chosen for a donation!
We have registered our need for a new Garden Co-ordinator with the Reading Volutneer Bureau. If anyone on our distribution list is interested, or they know of someone who might be interested please get in touch with Ridgeline Trustees Graham or Celia, or reply to this email. We would like to record Ridgeline's thanks to out-going Co-ordinator Emily for her time and commitment which has had a huge impact on the garden.
Hannah Genders, our newly appointed garden designer has started work and she will be producing a first draft design within a few weeks. Once we have this we shall have a consultation so that all interested volunteers have an opportunity to comment also.
